Each of our Accredited Exercise Physiologists brings a unique perspective and expertise to their work. But they all have one thing in common – a passion for helping their clients live active, healthy lives.

  • Founder & Accredited Exercise Physiologist

    Josh is the founder of Body in Motion and a Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology graduate from Charles Sturt University. A former professional triathlete, Josh represented Australia at multiple Elite World Championships and spent years as a NSW Institute of Sport athlete.

    He specialises in evidence-based exercise programs for chronic disease management, musculoskeletal injuries, and rehabilitation. Josh is also experienced in sport-specific training and testing, helping athletes return to competition or perform at their best.

    Special interests:

    • Chronic disease management (diabetes, cardiovascular disease, arthritis)

    • Musculoskeletal injury rehab and WorkCover programs

    • Fitness goal-setting and lifestyle change

    • Event-specific training for endurance athletes

    When he’s not in the clinic, Josh loves playing football and spending time with his wife and boys.

  • Accredited Exercise Physiologist

    Julie studied at Southern Cross University and graduated with a Bachelor in Sport and Exercise Science and Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology. Julie specialises in evidence-based exercise programs for chronic disease management, musculoskeletal injuries, and rehabilitation. 

    Julie’s special interest is in Women’s Health, specifically focussing on the different stages of Menopause together with functional movement to optimise bone and muscle strength when aging.

    • Women’s health and fitness

    • Healthy aging

    • Mobility and functional training

    • Chronic disease management

    Outside the clinic, Julie enjoys being outdoors, connecting with friends and family and exploring roads less travelled.

  • Accredited Exercise Physiologist

    Jonathon grew up in Alstonville, and completed a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology locally at Southern Cross University.

    He is passionate about exercise as a tool to improve well being and quality of life. He works closely with many clients recovering from workplace injuries and enjoys helping older adults build strength and independence.

    • Strength and conditioning

    • Healthy ageing programs 

    • General health and wellbeing improvement 

    Outside of work, Jonathon is a keen footballer with Alstonville FC where he has played since he was 10 years old.
